This is one of the best "sibling" books written, it gracefully highlights the challenges for the child with diabetes and how that effects everyone else. It's heartfelt, sweet and should be available for every family with type 1 diabetes in it. It's good for all ages.
This book is very sensitive to the feelings and needs of young siblings of those who have type 1 diabetes. The child without diabetes may feel ignored while so much attention is given to treat diabetes. There isn't much help available for the child without diabetes. This book fills a real need. I highly recommend it for young children.
Our daughter was recently diagnosed with T1D. My son loves reading this book every day because it parallels some of our personal experiences. Well done!
Very sweet book. I have identical twin girls, but only one has Type 1 diabetes. While my daughters are grown now, this book was a pretty accurate description of how the non-diagnosed twin was feeling when they were little. I wish this book was around back then. But, it's never too late so I bought one and sent it to her anyway <3 Thanks
